Giveaway Terms and Conditions


The Hair and Barber New Zealand Giveaway (“Giveaway”) is organised by My Hair Career (MYHC) in partnership with Hair and Barber New Zealand (H&B NZ). By participating, entrants agree to these terms and conditions.

1. Eligibility: H&B NZ

  • The Giveaway is open to legal residents of New Zealand aged 18 years or older.

  • To be eligible for a H&B NZ membership, the winner must have proof of industry qualification.

2. Entry Period:

  • The Giveaway begins on December 10, 2024, and ends at 11:59 PM on January 31, 2025.

3. How to Enter:

  • Complete one or more of the following to qualify for the draw:

  • Submit a personal hairdressing story through our campaign platform.

  • Subscribe to the MYHC newsletter. (Sign up to the Newsletter here)

  • Follow MYHC and H&B NZ on social media channels.

  • Each individual can submit one entry per qualifying action.

4. Prizes:

Prizes will include exclusive items co-branded by MYHC and H&B NZ. Specific prizes and their details will be announced during the campaign period.

Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

5. Draw and Winner Notification:

The draw will take place between February 1 and February 3, 2025.

Winners will be randomly selected from eligible entries.

Winners will be notified via email or direct message within seven (7) days of the draw.

6. Claiming Prizes:

Winners must respond to the notification email or message within fourteen (14) days to claim their prize.

If a winner does not respond within 14 days, another winner will be selected.

7. Privacy and Marketing Consent:

By entering the Giveaway, participants consent to their personal information being used for the purposes of administering the Giveaway and for marketing communications from MYHC and NZH&B.

Entrants agree to be contacted via email or other methods regarding MYHC and H&B NZ’s updates, promotions, and future campaigns.

Personal information will be managed in accordance with MYHC’s privacy policy.

8. General Conditions:

MYHC reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Giveaway if necessary.

By participating, entrants agree to release and hold harmless MYHC and H&B NZ from any liability arising from participation or the acceptance of any prize.

By participating in the Giveaway, entrants agree to these Terms and Conditions.

9. Promotion Details:

Updates, engagement, and highlights of the campaign will be shared on MYHC and NZH&B’s social media channels throughout the Giveaway period.
